Not everyone can qualify for free grant money, but when you do you can receive thousands of dollars that you never have to pay back. These funds are available to millions of Americans who may be eligible to obtain cash grants to pay down debt, start a business, or even help with the purchase of a new home.

To find out if you are able to receive free grant money, search the database of available programs to see what government and private organizations are providing these funds. Read through the terms and eligibility requirements. If you feel your are eligible, submit your application and wait to get approved.

Who can apply for free grant money?

The minimum requirement to obtain personal grants is that you must be at least 18 years old and an American citizen. There are grants for minorities, grants for single parents, and even programs that will give free money to college students to help pay for education costs. Even if you have an interest in starting a home based business, you may be able to receive $50,000 or more that you never have to pay back.

Because these are not loans, the organization that awards you your personal grant will never ask you to repay the funds. Unless of course you use the money for anything other than it’s intended purpose. In other words, if you receive $12,000 to help you pay off your credit card debt, don’t get caught spending the money on new clothes and electronic equipment.
